I start off with this one, and I opted not to go with a standard one of Bryce Canyon (like a view from Sunrise Point) or Yosemite (likeTunnel View), but a less scenic one. For this, I went into the canyon (which technically is not a canyon) to change my perspective, to be on level with the hoodoos, not way above them.
The time, of course, is morning, and the sunlight is just jaw-dropping. Everything starts to glow even before the sun is above the horizon (reflections from clouds), and you think "wow, that's great". And then the sun actually comes up, and you have concentrate not to forget to hit the camera trigger, it's such an amazing thing that happens there.
What makes this special for me is all the snow. I have been to Bryce Canyon two times in the past already, but always in high season. But I do like the snow a lot, it adds even more to an amazing landscape
